'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>I enjoy investigating new ideas, concepts that have the potential to bring us forward, that would lead us to the future. I have fun creating a meaningful and resonating vision describing our desired future state and putting the strategy and roadmap to the future into a colorful PowerPoint presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Most likely this is the heritage of my education in algebraic number theory and my apprenticeship in strategy at The Boston Consulting Group. I like to do all these initial steps of a successful expedition to the future.<\/p>\n<p>But at the end of the day \u2013 another legacy from the consulting days \u2013 the only thing that really counts is the implementation, it is the result. It is about turning the vision into reality, implementing the strategy, following the roadmap, transforming an organization. This is primarily about leadership, about people and organizations. There is absolutely no value in any strategy, regardless how colorful and animated it is presented. If the organization, the people are not following, you won\u2019t see any results.<\/p>\n<p>At this point the famous quote of Peter Drucker pops into my head: \u201cCulture eats strategy for breakfast.\u201d If you don\u2019t inspire the people and get them involved, you won\u2019t be able to get them to move. It is not only the key success factor for any transformation, I\u2019m glad that I had the chance to experience that it is also fun and fulfilling to achieve success together in a group. That\u2019s why I\u2019m passionate about it. That\u2019s what crafted my personal mission:<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Transforming and enabling organizations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My mission goes beyond implementing a strategy. It is sustaining value creation, building agile organizations who are capable of mastering future challenges, organizations who are agile and easily adapt to upcoming changing situations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>At times life isn\u2019t working out the way you thought it would be.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Better be prepared. Making organizations fit for the future. Enabling organizations.
